Stump grinding in Scottsdale

We make ugly stumps disappear.

Without wrecking your irrigation. Without chewing up your pool deck. And without making you take Tuesday off just to get a price.

It takes about 2 minutes. Three photos. A few honest answers. No salesman wandering around your backyard.

We grind stumps. A lot.

This is the part where real job photos go. Not shiny stock pictures of a smiling guy holding a spotless shovel.

Big backyard stump
Tight side gate
Next to hardscape
Clean finish
It really is this simple

Show us the stump. Scott figures out the annoying parts.

No twelve-page form. No waiting until “sometime between 8 and 4” for a quote.

1

Take 3 normal phone pictures

One close. One wide. One showing the path from the street. Crooked pictures are welcome.

2

Scott looks for trouble

Narrow gates. Irrigation. Pool decks. Walls. Rocks. Slopes. Things that turn a cheap guess into an expensive surprise.

3

You get a real estimate

Read it. Ask questions. Edit anything we misunderstood. Nothing gets scheduled until you say yes.

So who looks at your pictures?

Scott. An actual human being.

Scott reviews every request before a price goes out. He knows that “normal gate” can mean 32 inches, 48 inches, or “my husband swears the machine will fit.”

If something is unclear, he asks one useful question. He does not make you repeat the entire story to a robot, a receptionist, and then the guy who arrives.

Our extremely serious promises

Stump grinding should be...

1. Trip-Free

That ankle-height stump is practically begging a kid, guest, dog walker, or distracted grownup to find it in the dark. We remove the obstacle instead of decorating it with another orange cone.

2. Busted-Back-Free

A stump is a buried wooden boulder. Please do not spend your weekend attacking it with an axe, chain, rented mystery machine, and optimism. We already own the machine designed for this.

3. Surprise-Free

A 24-inch stump behind a 31-inch gate is not the same job as a 24-inch stump beside the driveway. Our photo process catches access, rocks, slopes, irrigation, walls, and hardscape before the crew rolls.

4. Yard-Damage-Free

The goal is to destroy the stump, not your pavers, stucco, pool tile, garden, or sprinkler manifold. We plan the route and contain the chips before grinding starts.

IMPORTANT: We are stump grinders, not utility locators.

If you know or suspect that power, gas, water, irrigation, pool plumbing, or communications lines are near the stump, tell us. Some jobs need marking or an onsite look before anyone responsibly puts spinning teeth into the ground.

“Why can’t you price it from the width?”

Because width is only one piece. The same stump can be an easy driveway-side job or a tiny backyard expedition.

  • Can the grinder physically reach it?
  • How high is the stump above grade?
  • How deep do you need it ground?
  • Is it surrounded by rock, concrete, roots, irrigation, or a pool?
  • Are we leaving the grindings, hauling material, or preparing the spot for replanting?

Three pictures answer most of this faster than a long phone call. That is why our quote starts with pictures, not a made-up per-inch number.

Step 1 of 4

Where is the stump?

This confirms that you’re in the local service area and helps us understand access.

Show us what you see

Photos do not need to be perfect. These three angles usually tell us more than a long explanation.

A few useful details

Your best estimate is fine. Scott will verify anything important from the photos.

How can equipment reach it?
What is close to the stump?

Where should Scott send the estimate?

We’ll use this only for your request and any useful follow-up it needs.

Your request is ready for review.

Scott will review the photos and job details. If everything is clear, he’ll prepare your estimate. If one detail is missing, he’ll ask only for that.

POC mode: until the secure webhook is connected, this demonstration saves the normalized request locally.

What does it cost?

We may not be the cheapest person with a grinder.

A cheap number that changes after a machine is in your backyard is not cheap. A missed appointment is not cheap. Broken irrigation is definitely not cheap. We give you the price we can stand behind after looking at the actual job.
